Color Selection is perhaps one of the most challenging aspects of Graphic and Web Design. A combination of a fresh design with the right amount of color shades has a significant impact on the overall look and presentation of a design project. It is like dressing up for the right kind of occasion. A good color scheme can boost up sales for a marketing campaign or attract clients for a corporate company. There are a number of online resources which help you choose your desired color schemes. A number of these websites allow users to browse through a list of color palettes already available. Alternatively, they can help you generate a color scheme based on your requirements and specifications. Some of these return the hex and RGB values of the colors selected and therefore are handy for web designers as well.
I handpicked ten of these websites which allow you to generate color palettes and schemes. So, here goes the list:
Colour Lovers is one of my personal favorite. The site allows anyone to find their inspiration for color by browsing through a number of palettes available or creating one of their own.
Adobe Kuler is a web-hosted application for generating color themes. Users can experiment with a variety of color variations and browse thousands of themes from the Kuler community.
With a brand new interface, as well as the engine, Color Scheme Designer allows for rapidly increased precision and color space conversions with a better preview and an enhanced scheme creation system.
The ColorSchemer Gallery is an online community which allows users to share and manage color schemes created with ColorSchemer.
ColoRotate has an open three-dimensional color space which allows you to choose (or design) the color palette that fits your needs.
Toucan is a flash based web application which allows you to generate a color palette, import colors from a picture, get its hex and RGB values and save the palette for future reference.
Users can determine the hex values of specific colors that have been used in a picture through ColorSuckr. ColorSuckr now supports URLs from Flickr and also comes with a Firefox add-on.
I Like Your Colors by RedAlt extracts the hex values of colors from the style-sheets of any URL of the website entered (Now that’s interesting). Handy for web designers.
ColorExplorer lets users to browse through a number of color libraries, and provides conversion hints between multiple color libraries (RAL, TOYO, and more).
IDEO Web Color Visualizer comes with a limited range of colors and allows users to switch background and text colors by clicking on any of the swatches available. Ideal if you want to experiment with background colors.
Happy Coloring!

I help something that makes it simpler for users to obtain access to advanced website functionality. Twitter oauth is fairly simple to implement and if the user is logged into twitter it is often a a single or two click process. The user feels safe not giving as well much info properly web page owner has a brand new potential customer. Exceptional Write-up!
