Hello everyone! In this post, I bring you a hand-picked collection of some of the best vector floral patterns from around the web. A number of these patterns are seamless which means that they can be repeated over and still end up in a consistent design. Patterns are great for website backgrounds, print media such as clothing as well as adding textural effect to your designs. Most of them are in “.ai”, “.svg” and “.eps” format and you can scale them to any size without any compression. They can be edited in a vector editing program such as Adobe Illustrator. Moreover, you can also import them to Photoshop and use them in your designs. In Illustrator, they can be used as swatch pattern fills or defined into custom brushes. Jay Hilgert from Bittbox highlights the Power (and ease) of patterns in Illustrator in this tutorial.
P.S.: Although these patterns are free, I would advise you to have a look at the licensing agreements by the original designers.
